  • 2017/6/23   Development of particle sensor with world-best spatial resolution (press release)
  • The researchers from U Tsukuba (Prof. K. Hara, leader), KEK, Osaka U and Tohoku U. succeeded in developing a particle sensor with a spatial resolution better than 1 micron, first time ever, using a Silicon-On-Insulator technology.

Laboratory for Development of Photon and Particle Detectors

This Division works as a base for the development of photon and particle detectors in the Center for the Tomomaga Center for the History of the Universe, to realize new detectors to be deployed in various research areas.
